The Practice Development Coordinator supports the professional development and formation of Community and Youth Work students through specific development and formation inputs, coordinating the student placement process and maintaining a proactive and visible role in the sector. In addition, the role supports the Community and Youth Work recruitment process.
We are seeking a Practice Development Coordinator (PDC) to organise and coordinate professional Community and Youth Work practice placements and associated activities across the Master of Social Science (Community and Youth Work) programme. The PDC will engage with students to support placement matching and engage in activities that contribute to student professional development, placement preparation, induction and training of practice teachers/supervisors and tutors. The PDC will also contribute to Community and Youth Work outreach activities to support the recruitment of practice placement opportunities and ensure practice placements support quality learning for students and are compliant with professional regulations on criteria for education and training programmes’.
Salary
Administrative Officer II (2025): €45,958 – €65,154 (9 points) (pro-rata for part-time)
Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
