About the Role

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) plays a major role in supporting RMIT University's strategic goals to enhance student employability, increase graduate employment outcomes and ensure students are ready for life and work.

The WIL Officer is part of the College's WIL Operations team which sits within the broader Student and Program Lifecycle team. The WIL Officer provides effective administration, advice and support for WIL activities and processes across all Schools and programs within the College. The role has a strong client service orientation and is an active participant in service and process improvement initiatives. The role facilitates WIL projects and assists in the development of systems to support staff and students in achieving WIL objectives.

To be successful in this position, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the provision of high-quality administrative services (experience in WIL will be an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, including academics, professional staff, students, and external clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently and problem solve effectively while maintaining a focus on quality assurance.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • High level of proficiency in computer applications, with strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
